Clay & Play: Pottery Wheel Fun Class for Beginners
Two hours, a lump of clay and the freedom to make whatever you like. Explore handbuilding at your own pace, with guidance from an experienced pottery teacher whenever you need it.
Clay and Play: Handbuilding Experience is an open ended pottery workshop where what you make is completely up to you. You might make a bowl, a vase, a small sculpture, something useful, something decorative, or simply see where the clay takes you. Unlike our project based workshops, there is no set piece that everyone makes. You’ll be given clay to work with and introduced to the handbuilding techniques and tools available to you. Your teacher will be there throughout the workshop to offer guidance, demonstrate techniques and help you turn your ideas into clay.
